The user places the center of an adjustable geo-search circle at his current position or where he wants to go. On a mobile device equipped with a GPS sensor, the center of the geo-search circle will be the user’s actual position.
The radius of the geo-search circle can be contracted or expanded using a mouse/track pad or finger gestures on a touch screen. The circle defines the area of the search and since it’s linked to a geographic region, it also defines the geographic search component. The user enters a keyword(s) in the search field to complete the search index. Mondity then produces a list of business web pages within the defined geo-search circle containing the keyword(s).
Mondity helps businesses become visible on the web so customers can easily find them.
Businesses only need to describe their business using keywords that will attract the desired customer and place their physical address on their existing website
There is no search engine optimization required with Mondity.
The more detailed keyword description, the better chances of being found within the user-defined search circle.
Mondity’s patented underlying technology enables us to find a physical address if it’s present on an arbitrary web page. We search for the address using a probabilistic algorithm. We’ve had extremely good results with the analysis of all websites written in the Croatian, Serbian and Slovenian languages. Naturally, the algorithm works just as well for all of the world’s major language, but for our beta test site we couldn’t afford the cost of the data center required to serve potential customers everywhere.

In order to make Mondity a global service, we need a data center with approximately 10,000 servers and a year to process all of the web pages and create our database of geocoded websites. After that the service can go live. Our crawlers, robots and other web searching tools will ensure that the database is kept up to date.
